MOVIE NIGHT Sacra Korona - The Legend of the Holy Crown. A Co-production of the Magyar Televizió and Korona Film Productions, directed by Gábor Koltai. Come on out and enjoy two hours of good entertainment, on Saturday, 19 January 2002 starting at 7 p.m. Tickets: $3 dollars per person. MOVIE NIGHT Mese Autó (The Dream Car). A delightful comedy about rich and ordinary people and their love story. Come on out and enjoy an hour and a half of good fun and entertainment, on Saturday, 2 February 2002 - starting at 7 p.m. Tickets: $3 dollars per person. MARDI GRAS-VALENTINE'S DANCE The Hungarian Community Center will hold its annual Mardi Gras-Valentine's Dance on Saturday, 16 February 2002, starting at 7 p.m. Treat yourself to a meal from some of the finest offerings of the Hungarian Cuisine, and dance the night away to some lively music! Tickets: Members with supper - 15 dollars per person. Non-members with supper - 18 dollars per person *************************
NOTICE OF COMPETITIONThe Executive of the OHCC gives notice of competition for the post(s) of a program director/announcer of the Hungarian portion of a multi-cultural/multi-lingual local radio program. The programming will commence in the near future.
Requirements: Superior oral and written proficiency in the English and Hungarian languages.
The competition is open to all interested persons. All submissions are to be sent to the OHCC at the above address by February 1st 2002. Prospective candidates are to include their name, address and telephone number, as well as their resume (CV), and a brief statement as to why they are applying for the post. All applicants will be notified of the Selection Committee's decision with respect to their application. More details on this competition may be obtained by contacting members of the OHCC Executive. *************************
